The Role – Contracts Specialist

The role is to deliver integrated contracts support to all areas of the Operators business - across suppliers and contractors related to all areas of business including Operations (including Subsea), Exploration, Maintenance, Integrity and Support (IT, HR, Office services other Corporate) services, including leading the tendering processes and contract negotiations.

Essential Qualifications

  • A degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law or Business Management or similar relevant degree
  • A working knowledge of Oil & Gas Supply Chain in the relevant areas of business - Production Operations, Subsea, Wells/Drilling or Projects
  • Well versed in Contract structures, templates, formats with special emphasis on LOGIC and ability to apply this knowledge across tendering process and contracts management
  • Experience with effective Contractor Performance Management Programs
  • The ability to demonstrate an understanding of contracting within an ERP application
  • Advanced negotiation skills
  • Previous experience in a similar contracts specialist / contracts engineer role
