Reports to: Head of Engineering

Salary: Competitive

The Role

Join Serica Energy as Integrity Manager, a senior technical leadership role with responsibility for safeguarding the integrity of our operated assets across their full lifecycle. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will act as the company’s functional lead for integrity management, setting clear expectations, standards and assurance across pressure systems, structures and pipelines.

Communication sits at the heart of this role. You’ll create clarity around integrity risks, standards and priorities, working closely with Engineering, Operations and Asset Managers to ensure issues are understood, challenged where needed and managed in line with regulatory and company requirements. You’ll also represent Serica with regulators and industry forums, sharing good practice and building trusted external relationships.

Through Learning, you’ll drive continuous improvement in how we manage integrity. You’ll own integrity‑related management system documentation, ensure data, tools and processes are fit for purpose, and look for smarter, more effective approaches to inspection, risk assessment and remediation. A curiosity about how things can be done better, and a strong grounding in technical excellence, will be key.

We believe great leaders Empower others and take Accountability. You’ll combine clear technical authority with people leadership, leading a team of integrity engineers and overseeing specialist technical authorities. You’ll create an environment where professional judgement is trusted, decisions are well supported, and people are clear about their responsibilities and the difference they make.

Above all, you’ll foster a culture of Respect. That means offering constructive, independent technical challenge, supporting balanced decision‑making, and making sure integrity considerations are part of day‑to‑day operations, projects and long‑term asset planning. Safety, care for people and doing the right thing will guide how you lead.

This is a senior position offering real influence over how Serica manages asset integrity today and prepares its assets for the future. It is a role for someone motivated by leadership, standards and making a meaningful contribution in a values‑driven business.

What we are looking for in potential candidates:

We are looking for an experienced Integrity Manager who combines strong technical credibility with the confidence to lead, challenge and influence across the organisation.

  • Significant experience in integrity management roles within UKCS oil and gas operations, with a solid understanding of pressure systems, structures and pipelines across the asset lifecycle.
  • A degree‑qualified engineer (Chartered status preferred) with detailed knowledge of relevant legislation, regulatory frameworks and industry standards.
  • A proven people leader, comfortable building and developing high‑performing teams and managing specialist technical resources.
  • Someone who communicates clearly, applies sound independent judgement and is prepared to challenge where safety, integrity or compliance could be compromised.
  • A collaborative, values‑led leader who enjoys working across disciplines, supporting operations and projects while keeping long‑term asset integrity firmly in view.

If you’re motivated by making a meaningful contribution to safe, sustainable operations and want to shape how integrity is managed across a growing asset base, we’d welcome your application.
