The Role

Focal point within the PSCM team for all Contracts and Procurement activities in relation to the Operations & Maintenance Category supporting the relevant business function ensuring that cost-effective, high performing contracts and agreements are delivered and controlled in a professional and ethical manner

Deliver timely contract support across the business ensuring compliance with the Company processes and procedures whilst ensuring that the Company is not exposed to unnecessary contractual or commercial risk in the course of its business

What we are looking for in potential candidates:

  • Takes full responsibility for health, safety, wellbeing and environmental obligations in all procurement activities.
  • Delivers integrated Supply Chain support in an Exploration & Production environment, particularly across Operations & Maintenance suppliers and contractors.
  • Consolidates functional demand to ensure consistent market engagement.
  • Ensures all procurement activities follow Company procedures and industry good practice.
  • Leads category planning for assigned spend areas and coordinates category strategy across Operations & Maintenance with key stakeholders.
  • Leads development of prequalification’s, RFIs, RFQs and bid lists.
  • Manages tendering, evaluation and negotiations; recommends awards per Delegation of Authority, ensuring fair, transparent processes, risk mitigation and value delivery.
  • Works with Legal to ensure contracts properly address commercial, contractual and technical risks.
  • Embeds Contractor Performance Management with clear performance measures and continuous improvement.
  • Develops and implements supplier relationship, performance and contract management plans.
  • Leads or contributes to dispute negotiations.
  • Maintains current market knowledge and identifies category trends.
  • Monitors supplier KPIs and addresses inconsistencies.
  • Evaluates and manages supplier risks through systematic audits.
  • Actively contributes to supply chain initiatives.
  • Engages with Legal, Finance, Operations, Maintenance and Engineering teams.
  • Supports vendor qualification, onboarding and assurance via SEQual or equivalent, ensuring vendors meet capability, HSEQ and compliance requirements.
