Block 14/15a

Serica 50% (operator), Talisman 50%

Block 14/15a covers an area of approximately 108 square kilometres in the Outer Moray Firth and was awarded to Serica and Palladin Expro (now Talisman) in the 23rd Round of UK Offshore Licensing in 2005.

Several leads have been identified on the block at Upper Jurassic, Lower Cretaceous and Paleocene levels and Serica is re-processing the available 3D seismic data in order to define prospects for future drilling. The block is adjacent to the Claymore and Lowlander fields.
