Tlou Energy has entered into conditional subscription agreements with investment funds managed by African Alliance Botswana, a leading asset manager based in Botswana. The Subscription is conditional on the Company listing on the Botswana Stock Exchange.

UK: Angus Energy provides update on Lidsey oil field

Angus Energy has provided an update on operations at the Lidsey oil field in PL241, onshore UK. The Company reports that geochemical analysis of potential hydrocarbon bearing formations encountered in the Lidsey-X2 well has confirmed TOC (total organic content) values similar to the Brockham and the Horse Hill-1 wells, which is comparable to the Bakken Shale formation (US).

Union Jack Oil has announced that the Oil and Gas Authority has approved the acquisition by Union Jack of a 20% economic interest in licence EXL294 containing the producing Fiskerton Airfield oil field from the Operator, Egdon Resources.

Morocco: SDX Energy provides updates on the Sebou and Gharb Centre permits, onshore Morocco

SDX Energy has announced an update on its KSR-14 and KSR-15 development wells on the Sebou permit in Morocco. KSR-14 and KSR-15 are the first two wells of a nine well drilling programme on the Company's Sebou, Gharb Centre and Lalla Mimouna permits in Morocco.

Morocco: Sound Energy completes Aerial Gradiometry acquisition in Eastern Morocco

Sound Energy has announced completion of the Airborne Full Tensor Gravity Gradiometry (FTG) and magnetic survey acquisition in Eastern Morocco. The survey, together with the new 2D seismic programme which is now underway, was commissioned to develop a better understanding of the subsurface structure and sedimentary succession.

Ecopetrol has been awarded four blocks in the Gulf of Mexico in Lease Sale 249. The blocks awarded were Garden Banks 77, 78, 121 and 122. Ecopetrol and Repsol will each hold 50% equity, with the blocks operated by Repsol.

Argentina to extend gas production subsidies to Austral basin
