Serica Announces Commencement of TSX Listing

London, 1 November 2010 - Serica Energy plc (TSX Venture & AIM: SQZ) is pleased to announce that it has received final approval to list its ordinary shares on the Toronto Stock Exchange ("TSX"). The ordinary shares of Serica are scheduled to commence trading on the TSX at market open on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 under the symbol "SQZ". Accordingly, the ordinary shares of Serica will be delisted from the TSX Venture Exchange upon the commencement of trading on the TSX.
Serica receives offshore Licence Award in UK 26th Round

London 28 October 2010 - Seric Energy (TSX Venture & AIM: SQZ) is pleased to announce that, in the 26th Round of UK Offshore Licensing, the Company has been awarded a Production Licence over Blocks 210/19a and 210/20a in the Northern North Sea ("NNS") and that possible grants of further licences applied for by Serica remain subject to the results of environmental assessments by the Department of Energy and Climate Change.
Serica will be the operator of the new licence and has a 100% interest.

London 15 June 2010 - Serica announces that agreement has been reached with BG International Limited ("BG"), as operator of the Lomond field, and Dana Petroleum Limited, as operator of the Arran field (formerly the Barbara and Phyllis fields), whereby BG will carry out Front End Engineering and Design work ("FEED") for a Bridge Linked Platform ("BLP") that will connect with the Lomond platform and provide gas and condensate reception facilities for Columbus and Arran production.

London, 11 May 2010 - Serica Energy (TSX Venture & AIM: SQZ) announces that on Monday 10th May it commenced drilling the Conan exploration well in Block 113/2b in the East Irish Sea. The well will be drilled by the Ensco 80 jack-up drilling rig to a depth of approximately 5,000 feet and is anticipated to take approximately 24 days to drill.

Drilling rig secured for Conan prospect

London, 1 February 2010 - Serica Energy plc (TSX Venture & AIM: SQZ) announces that it has secured the use of the Ensco 80 jack-up driling rig for an exploration well on the Conan prospect in UK East Irish Sea Blocks 113/26b and 113/27c. Mobilisation of the drilling rig to the East Irish Sea is expected to commence in April 2010.
